What is starwood amphitheater?

Starwood Amphitheater was an outdoor music venue located in Antioch, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville. The amphitheater opened in 1985 and was operated by entertainment company SFX Entertainment. It had a seating capacity of 17,137 and was known for hosting concerts by popular bands and artists.

Over the years, Starwood Amphitheater hosted concerts by artists such as Pearl Jam, Elton John, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Nine Inch Nails, and many others. The venue was also used for music festivals, including Ozzfest and Lollapalooza.

In 2006, the venue was closed and eventually demolished in 2007 to make way for a shopping center. The closing of Starwood Amphitheater was met with disappointment from music fans in the Nashville area, as it was a popular spot for outdoor concerts during the summer months.
